English meaning is rubbish. Doesn’t convey the original thought at all. The actual meaning is as follows

    1. A relative who doesn’t help when there is a need
    2. A god who doesn’t fulfill your wish even when you pray to
    3. A horse which doesn’t move when you are in the midst of a battle
    4. You should immediately ger rid of such people or things
