Composer: Dhurjati (or Dhoorjati) (Telugu: ధూర్జటి) (15th and 16th centuries, CE) was a Telugu poet. He was born to Singamma and Narayana in Sri Kalahasti and was the grandson of Jakkayya. He was a great devotee of lord Shiva, also known as Kalahasteeshwara. O Lord! The riches like elephants, horses, chariots, precious gems, silk clothes, perfumes, women and embellishment donot liberate this soul (give moksha). Yet, ignorant men seek the refuge of the kings, craving for them. And at the end, fall into despair due to disappointment. Alas, what a shallow quest!
