Composer: Dhurjati (or Dhoorjati) (Telugu: ధూర్జటి) (15th and 16th centuries, CE) was a Telugu poet. He was born to Singamma and Narayana in Sri Kalahasti and was the grandson of Jakkayya. He was a great devotee of lord Shiva, also known as Kalahasteeshwara. శ్రీకాళహస్తీశ్వరా!మరణించినవారినిజూఁచి ఏడ్చువారు ఓ యమదర్మరాజా!మేము కూడ తప్పనిసరి మరణించెదము. వీని వెనుకే వచ్చెదము.ఇందులో ఏమి సందేహము లేదు అని శవ సంస్కారవేళ యందు,స్నానాదులు చేయు రేవు నందు పలుకులు పలుకుయే అగును.కానీ ఇది నిజమని భావించరు.ఎంతవెదికిననూ ఇందులోని తెలివి తక్కువను వారు కనిపెట్టలేరు గాని,చావు యొక్క నైజ గుణము ఇదే.

Meaning:
O Lord! At the cremation of a dead person, every one utters the said words “O Yama, we will all end one day. We are going to follow this man someday”. Yet, no one realizes the real meaning of these words and futilely grieves the death of a person. Alas, ignorant people donot realize the nature of death.
