Composer: Dhurjati (or Dhoorjati) (Telugu: ధూర్జటి) (15th and 16th centuries, CE) was a Telugu poet. He was born to Singamma and Narayana in Sri Kalahasti and was the grandson of Jakkayya. He was a great devotee of lord Shiva, also known as Kalahasteeshwara. చాలుంజాలు గవిత్వములన్నిలుచునే / సత్యంబు వర్ణించుచో

శ్రీకాళహస్తీశ్వరా!నీ రూపమును వర్ణించుటకు ఉపమ,ఉత్ప్రేక్ష,ద్వని,వ్యంగ్యము మొదలైన అర్థాలంకారములు శబ్దాలంకారములు,విశేష వ్యాకరణాది సంజ్ఞలకు అలవిగాదు.ఇక వర్ణించుట ఎట్లు?సత్య పదార్థము వర్ణించుటకు కవిత్వము పనికివచ్చునా?పనికిరాదు కాన నిన్ను వర్ణించలేని మా వంటి కవులు సిగ్గుపడవలయును.

O Lord! No poetic adornments like – upama (comparative), utpreksha (exaggerative), dhvani (musical), vyangyam (sarcasm) can be sufficient to express you in words. How can adornments ever satisfy the reality of The Truth? Hence, we poets bow before you for our inadequecies.
