Sulabhul Murkhula Nuththa (సులభుల్ మూర్ఖుల నుత్త)

Composer: Dhurjati (or Dhoorjati) (Telugu: ధూర్జటి) (15th and 16th centuries, CE) was a Telugu poet. He was born to Singamma and Narayana in Sri Kalahasti and was the grandson of Jakkayya. He was a great devotee of lord Shiva, also known as Kalahasteeshwara. He referred to his birthplace as part of Pottapi Nadu, named after an earlier Chola kingdom based from Pottapi in Cuddapah in his works. More...

సులభుల్ మూర్ఖుల నుత్త మోత్తములు రా / జుల్గల్గియే వేళ న
న్నలతంబెట్టిన నీ పదాబ్జముఁబా / యంజాల నేమిచ్చి నం
గల దౌతాచల మేలుటంబునిధిలో / గాపుండుటబ్జంబుపై
చెలువొప్పన్సుఖియింపగాంచుట సుమీ / శ్రీకాళహస్తీశ్వరా!

తాత్పర్యం:
శ్రీకాళహస్తీశ్వరా!తేలికస్వభావము గలవారును,మూర్ఖులును,గొప్పవారగు రాజులను,యే సమయమందైననూ నన్ను కష్టపెట్టిననూ, నీ పాద పద్మములను పూజించుట వదలను.నీవు నా నిమిత్తమేమిచ్చినా అది కైవల్య ప్రాప్తిగును, విష్ణుపాద నివాసమగును,బ్రహ్మైక్య సందానమువలను భావించెదను.

Meaning:
Let loose minded people, ignorant people and the ruling class harm me in anyway; I would not leave your lotus feet for them. Whatever you grant me in this life, I would accept it as my way to deliverance.
