శ్రుతులభ్యాసముచేసి,శాస్త్రగరిమ / ల్శోదించి తత్వంబులన్
మతినూహించి,శరీరమస్థిరము,బ్ర / హ్మంబున్న సత్యంబు గాం
చితిమంచున్ సభలనే వృధావచనము / ల్చెప్పంగనేకాని,ని
ర్జిత చిత్త స్థిర సౌఖ్యముల్ తెలియరో / శ్రీకాళహస్తీశ్వరా!
తాత్పర్యం:
శ్రీకాళహస్తీశ్వరా!బుగ్యజు సామాదర్వణాది వేదములను చదివి,శాస్త్రములను మధించి,తత్త్వములు పరిశోదించి,ఈ శరీరమంతయును స్థిరముగాదు.బ్రహ్మమొక్కటే సత్యముఅని మేము మేము తెలుసుకొంటిమి అని సభలో చెప్పుటయే కాని,మనస్సును జయించి,నిశ్చలానందమును తెలిసినవారు నీవు తప్ప మరొకరు లేరు.

Meaning:
O Destroyer of Desire! The so called scholars who had studied all the Vedas, understood all great texts of philosophy, sing your praise and oneness of God with their lips; yet, in their heart of hearts, they are still not able to realize the ultimate truth and happiness.
