Composer: Dhurjati (or Dhoorjati) (Telugu: ధూర్జటి) (15th and 16th centuries, CE) was a Telugu poet. He was born to Singamma and Narayana in Sri Kalahasti and was the grandson of Jakkayya. He was a great devotee of lord Shiva, also known as Kalahasteeshwara. నంతా దుఃఖపరంపరాన్వితమే మే / నంతా భయభ్రాంతమే
యంతానంత శరీరశోషణమే దు / ర్వ్యాపారమే దేహికిన్
చింతన్నిన్నుదలంచి పొందురు నరుల్ / శ్రీ కాళహస్తీశ్వరా!

శ్రీ కాళహస్తీశ్వరా! పరీక్షించి చూడగా శరీరంతయును భయ భ్రాంతులచేత కూడినట్టిదే.విచారించి చూడగా జరుగుతున్నదంతా శరీరమును శుధ్కింపచేసే విషయాలే.లోపల ఉన్న జీవుడు ఒక దుఃఖంలోకి పడినట్లుగా ఒక జన్మ నుంచి ఇంకొక జ్న్మానికి చేసే ప్రయాణమే.ఈ ప్రపంచమంతా సందేహాలమయమే.అయినా ఈ మనుష్యులు తమ మనస్సులలో నిన్ను గురించి అలోచించి నిన్ను చేరుకొనే ప్రయత్నం చేయటంలేదు.

O Destroyer of Desire! This body is full of pain and desire; the heart, full of illusion and whatever happens in the world, only degenerates the mind and soul. Such is the journey of the soul from one life to another. Yet people donot seek deliverance through your service.
