Composer: Dhurjati (or Dhoorjati) (Telugu: ధూర్జటి) (15th and 16th centuries, CE) was a Telugu poet. He was born to Singamma and Narayana in Sri Kalahasti and was the grandson of Jakkayya. He was a great devotee of lord Shiva, also known as Kalahasteeshwara. శ్రీకాళహస్తీశ్వరా!మానవులు తమ కోఱ్కెల కొఱకు మరొకరిని భాదించి,రాజ్యము మొదలైన పదవిని పొందుతారు.తాము ఒక నాటికైనా పదవి నుంచి తొలిగిపోతారు.అట్లే తమ సంపదలు నశించిపోవును. కుమారులు, స్నేహితులు, భార్యలు మొదలైనవారితో శాశ్విత సుఖాలుండవు?సంపదలున్నా చావు తప్పదను జ్ఞానము ఉండదా?

Okarimjampi padhasthulai brathuka thaa / mokkokka ruhimthu rey
lako thaamennadu jaavaro thamaku bo / vo sampadhal puthra mi
thra kalathraadhulathoda nithyasukhamam / dham gamdhuro,yunnavaa
riki leydho mruthi yennadum gatakataa! / shreekaalahastheeshvaraa!
Meaning:
O Lord! Kings who seek fortunes by killing others in battle, donot realize that one day they have to perish leaving the fortunes behind. Alas! Thus is the ignorance of people.
