Composer: Dhurjati (or Dhoorjati) (Telugu: ధూర్జటి) (15th and 16th centuries, CE) was a Telugu poet. He was born to Singamma and Narayana in Sri Kalahasti and was the grandson of Jakkayya. He was a great devotee of lord Shiva, also known as Kalahasteeshwara. He referred to his birthplace as part of Pottapi Nadu, named after an earlier Chola kingdom based from Pottapi in Cuddapah in his works. More...

కేదారాది సమస్తతీర్థములు కో / ర్కించూడబో నేటికిన్?
హాదా ముంగిలి వారణాసి కడుపే / కైలాసశైలంబు నీ
పాద ద్యానము సంభవించినపుడే / భావింప నజ్ఞాన ల
క్ష్మి దారిద్రులు గారె లోకులకటా / శ్రీకాళహస్తీశ్వరా!

తాత్పర్యం:
శ్రీకాళహస్తీశ్వరా!ఈ లోకంలో జ్ఞానం పొందలేక కొందరు దరిద్రులగుచున్నారు.అట్టివారికి కడుపు నిండుటయే కైలాస యాత్ర చేయుటతో సమానము అగును. ఇంతేగాక కేదారాది తీర్థాలు పోయి ఏమి సాదించామని గ్రహించలేక పోవుచున్నారు. నీపాదముల యందు దృడమైన భక్తితో కూడిన ద్యానము కలిగినప్పుడు మనుష్యులందరుఅజ్ఞానము అను లక్ష్మి నశించిన దరిద్రులగుదురు.అనగా శాశ్వతజ్ఞాన లక్ష్మీవంతులగుదురు.

Haadhaa mumgili vaaranaasi kadupey / kailaasashailambu nee
paadha dhyaanamu sambhavimchinapudey / bhaavimpa najnyaana la
kshmi dhaaridhrulu gaare lokulakataa / shreekaalahastheeshvaraa!

Meaning:
O Lord! Ignorant people make it their goal to seek filling their stomachs. They donot realize that religious tours will wield no result for them. Those who make it their pursuit to seek refuge at your feet, will get rid of the prosperity of worldly wealth and attain the eternal prosperity of knowledge.
