Composer: Dhurjati (or Dhoorjati) (Telugu: ధూర్జటి) (15th and 16th centuries, CE) was a Telugu poet. He was born to Singamma and Narayana in Sri Kalahasti and was the grandson of Jakkayya. He was a great devotee of lord Shiva, also known as Kalahasteeshwara. శ్రీకాళహస్తీశ్వరా!భగవంతుడైన నిన్ను చూచుట ద్యానించుటయందు గల ఆనందమును గుర్తించక మూర్ఖులైన జనులు పద్మముల వంటి కాంతిగలవి, మెఱపుతీగల విలాసములను జయించునవి, మన్మథునికి జయము కలిగించునని అని పొగుడుచూ స్త్రీల కనులను తమ కనుల నిండా నింపుకొని నిన్ను చూడలేక స్త్రీలోలురుగా మారిపోవుచున్నారు. అనగా యోగసిద్దిని పొందలేరని భావము.

O Lord! Ignorant men praise the beauty of a woman’s eyes instead of realizing the real divine beauty. Thus they turn to womanizers and fail to attain deliverance.
