అకరుణత్వమకారణవిగ్రహౌ |
పరధనే పరయోషితి చ స్పృహా ||
సుజనబన్ధుజ నేష్వ సహిష్ణుతా |
ప్రకృతి సిద్ధమిదం హి దురాత్మనామ్ || తాత్పర్యం:
దుర్జనునికి స్వాభావసిద్ధంగా ఉండే లక్షణాలలో ఇవి ముఖ్యమైనవి. దయాశూన్యం. కారణం లేకుండానే కయ్యానికి కాలు దువ్వుతుంటాడు. ధనం మీద చేత ఇతరుల స్త్రీలయందే కాక, ఇతరుల ధనం మీద కూడా కన్ను ఉంటుంది.
సజ్జనులన్నా – బంధువులన్నా ఇష్టం ఉండదు. ఓర్పు అనేది అసలుండదు. ఈ లక్షణాలున్న దుర్జనుని దరిచేరడం మంచిదికాదు. సూక్ష్మ పరిశీలనకు ఇంతకంటే నిదర్శనం ఇంకేం కావాలి ? మొత్తం మీద దుర్జనునికి ఎవరిమీదా కనికరం అనేది కలగదని నిర్థారణ అయింది.

A wicked man can be known by his qualities – lack of sympathy towards others; unreasonable quarrelling nature; desiring women belonging to other men; desiring others’ wealth; dislike towards virtuous people; Impatient. Such people are good to be kept far.
