పద్యం:
సన్తప్తాయసి సంస్ఠితస్య పయసో నామాపి న శ్రూయతే,
ముక్తాకారతయా తదేవ నలినీపత్రస్థితం దృశ్యతే |
అన్తస్సాగరశు క్తిమధ్యపతితం తన్మౌక్తికం జాయతే,
ప్రాయేణాధమమధ్యమో త్తమజుషా మేవం విధా వృత్తయః ||
తాత్పర్యం:
బాగా కణకణమండే రీతిగా కాలిన ఇనుముపై నీటి చుక్క పడినపుడు అది ( అధమవస్తువైనందున ) మరుక్షణమే మాయమై నశిస్తుంది. ఆనీటి చుక్క తామరాకు మీద పడినట్లయితే ముత్యంలా కనిపిస్తుంది. ఆ నీటి బిందువే సముద్రంలో ఉన్న ముత్యపుచిప్పలోకి చేరినపుడు అది మౌక్తికమణిగా రూపాంతరం చెందుతుంది.నీటి బిందువు అదే ! ఆశ్రయం మారినపుడు, ఆయా ఆశ్రయాలను బట్టి ఆశ్రిత వస్తువు / వ్యక్తికి వరుసగా సర్వనాశనం, సమాన్య సౌఖ్యం, ఉత్తమ సుఖం అబ్బుతాయి.

ఆశ్రయ వస్తువు యొక్క గుణాలను బట్టి ఇదే క్రమంలో అథమ – మధ్యమ – ఉత్తమ గతులు ఆశ్రిత వస్తువుకు కలుగుతాయి.

Santhapthaayasi Samstithasya Payaso Naamaapi Na Shrooyathe,
Mukthaakaarathayaa Thadheva Nalineepathrasthitham Dhrushyathe |
Anthassaagarashu Kthimadhyapathitham Thanmaukthikam Jaayathe,
Praayenaadhamamadhyamo Ththamajushaa Mevam Vidhaa Vruththayah ||
Meaning:
When a water drop falls on a burning coal, it evaporates. When it falls on a lotus leaf, it stays and shines like a pearl in sunlight. When the same water drop falls in an oyster, it gets transformed into a precious pearl… Thus when a person seeks the help of anyone, the benefactors’ qualities will reflect in the beneficiary
