Composer: Dhurjati (or Dhoorjati) (Telugu: ధూర్జటి) (15th and 16th centuries, CE) was a Telugu poet. He was born to Singamma and Narayana in Sri Kalahasti and was the grandson of Jakkayya. He was a great devotee of lord Shiva, also known as Kalahasteeshwara. శ్రీకాళహస్తీశ్వరా! నీకు మాంసమును తినవలెనని కోరిక ఉన్నచో జింక ఉన్నది.పదునైన కత్తి ఉన్నది.నీ కంటిలో అగ్ని యున్నది.శిరస్సుపై గంగ చేతియందు నీళ్ళు ఉన్నవి.వాని అన్నింటితో వండుకొని,నీ పుఱ్ఱెయగు భిక్షా పాత్ర యందు పెట్టుకొని తినవచ్చును గదా!ఆ బోయవాడైన తిన్నడు పెట్టిన ఎంగిలి మాంసము తినుట న్యాయము గాదు! అనగా నీ భక్తులు ఇచ్చినది దేనినైనను స్వీకరించెదవు కదా.

Meaning:
O Lord! Do you lack meat? You have a deer in hand, a sword to cut it, fire in your eyes, and water from Ganga on your own head. You can as well cook and eat the same in your skull vessel, why do you need the meat cooked and tasted by the Bhakta Tinna?
