Composer: Dhurjati (or Dhoorjati) (Telugu: ధూర్జటి) (15th and 16th centuries, CE) was a Telugu poet. He was born to Singamma and Narayana in Sri Kalahasti and was the grandson of Jakkayya. He was a great devotee of lord Shiva, also known as Kalahasteeshwara. O Lord! Birth and death happens at your feet all the time. People are unable to leave their desire for prosperity inspite of knowing the short span of their life. They follow useless deities seeking knowledge, instead of seeking your service. These people are ignorant.
